Third-party content comes from public sources
Part of OORA’s podcast index is based on RSS information publicly available on the internet. Users can select a show from the index or add content they are entitled to use for language learning.
OORA does not produce, upload or distribute third-party shows as a podcast platform, and does not retain third-party podcast audio as its own long-term content.
Learning is initiated by the user
Content retrieval, transcription and learning are selected and initiated by the user. OORA provides word-synced captions, translation, looping, speed control and shadowing tools.
Captions and learning records are private by default. Product data exports do not grant permission to publish or sublicense third-party content.
Rights remain with the original rights holders
Rights in podcast names, artwork, descriptions, audio and related material remain with their authors, podcasters, publishers or other lawful rights holders. OORA’s indexing and learning processes do not change that ownership.
OORA-owned and licensed content
Learning content created, co-created or licensed by OORA or YOSHINN is identified with source or rights information and is not presented as third-party public RSS content.
If you find an issue
If you are a rights holder and believe indexed information is inaccurate or want a show removed from OORA search, contact us through the rights-holder request page.
We will verify and act within OORA’s own index and learning tools.
